Lift Service & Callout Engineer

We are currently working with a national specialist in lift engineering, with multiple regional branches across the UK, and boasting an excellent reputation within the industry to recruit for an experienced Lift Service & Callout Engineer covering South Yorkshire.

The role of the Lift Service & Callout Engineer will involve the following duties;

• Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of lift systems.
• Diagnosing and repairing faults, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Performing routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Responding promptly to emergency callouts on your designated on-call day, on a 1 day in 12 basis.
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
• Providing excellent customer service and support.
• Collaborating with team members to share knowledge and best practices.
• Participating in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer or similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of lift systems, components, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
