Bonhill Partners are currently supporting an Investment Bank in their search for a Linux Engineer to join their core Infrastructure team as they look to expand their automation capability.

Salary: £75k + Bonus
Location: London, 3 days per week

• Strong experience administering Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, or similar).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting — writing, debugging, and optimizing scripts.
• Knowledge of system services (systemd, cron, networking, firewalls).
• Experience with automation/configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or similar) is a plus.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
