Linux SME - SC Cleared

Linux SME required for a 3-month initial contract, umbrella only. Please note to be considered for this role candidates must have active SC Clearance, used within the last 12-months.

This role requires 4 - 5 days onsite in either Warwick, Farnborough and/or Corsham
Skills Required:

• Experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) of Redhat enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience delivering moderate to complex Linux (RHEL) systems for deploying and supporting commercial off the shelf components. For example, DEVOPS infrastructure or SCADA systems
• Experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
• Linux Systems Administration background with a solid understanding of the full Systems Lifecycle, developing solutions for customers and working to defined customer requirements an advantage.
• Prior experience of deploying a Linux platform suited for SCADA on Critical National Infrastructure in a highly regulated industry an advantage
• Understand deploying Linux OS gold build and working with platform IaC to define parameters
• Understanding AD integration, OS update service integration (certificate install and agents etc)
