Eames Consulting are delighted to be working with a leading global financial institution with a principles led approach, dedicated to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and compliance within the ever evolving banking landscape. As the team continues to enhance the regulatory reporting capabilities, they are seeking an experienced Regulatory Reporting Analyst with a strong background in liquidity reporting.

Role Overview: As a Liquidity Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, and submission of various liquidity reports to regulatory bodies. Your insights will drive improvements in reporting processes, enhance automation efforts, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including Treasury, Risk, and IT departments, to uphold the organisation's commitment to accuracy and efficiency in regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyse, and submit liquidity reports, including FSA 47/48 returns, to regulatory authorities on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Develop new processes and reports to support the calculation of regulatory ratios and ensure adherence to new regulatory requirements (e.g., PRA 110, COREP).
  • Conduct month end ALMM preparation and reconciliation, providing comprehensive analyses of month over month movements and commentary for submission packs.
  • Design and implement control checks to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of internal liquidity reports.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Treasury, Risk, Tech, and other stakeholders) to facilitate smooth operational processes and submission timelines.
  • Engage in BAU testing for both bank and security adjustments, focusing on the automation of manual processes.
  • Mentor and train colleagues, both onshore and offshore, in preparation and understanding of bank and security reports, ensuring all regulatory deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an accountancy qualification - ACA / ACCA / CIMA.
  • Proven experience in regulatory reporting, specifically within liquidity management in a banking environment.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, reporting standards, and liquidity requirements.
  • Proficiency in regulatory reporting tools, including Power BI, Data 360 and SQL, to enhance reporting capabilities and stakeholder insights.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a keen ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of building strong stakeholder relationships.

This role offers a flexible hybrid working environment with 3 days in the office.
