Location:

Salary:

£35k - £45k

Hours:

2-week rotation working an early and back shift, 6.30am - 2.20pm / 2.10pm - 10pm

The Company:

My client specialises with commercial print

The Role:

  • Produce high quality print to the timescales required for efficient working.
  • Keep the machine in good working order.
  • Produce printed sheets to the job specification supplied.
  • Ensure the quality of every job, including attaining ISO 12647 standards.
  • Following the quality standards as described in their ISO 9001 procedures for Printing
  • Completed all paperwork associated with the job and the quality procedure.
  • Ensure a high level of Health and Safety is always maintained on the machine.
  • Complete any routine cleaning and maintenance of the press (maintenance is supported by an external team)
  • Complete all hours as detailed in the shift pattern supplied and to provide holiday cover for other team members.
  • All work carried out and any waste created must be moved or disposed in adherence with their environmental standard ISO 14001

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Significant, recent experience of running a Komori or Heidelberg B2 or B1 multi coloured press.
  • Excellent colour knowledge and quality control.
  • Experience of using press colour management software and printing to ISO 12647 standards.
  • Calm, approachable and professional manner
  • Ability to be flexible and understanding (of the print industry demands)
  • Always show consideration and respect to all colleagues.

Preferred:

  • Experience of running Komori or Heidelberg multi coloured press would be beneficial, full training will be undertaken.
  • Experience of working within ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 practices
