Role Description

Interaction are supporting our client with their recruitment for a Lithographic Print Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a highly skilled and experienced printing team. Youll work closely with the print minder and produce printed cartons and sleeves.

The candidate would work on the state-of-the-art Komori printing press.

Full training will be provided, but print experience is preferable.

The environment is very fast-paced and they have created a very lively atmosphere. Youll be joining a friendly team who have a good time at work, but also are hardworking, so you need to have the same characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operation of our Lithographic printing press as required to print various Cartons and sleeves.
• Work with the the Print Minder tackling all tasks requested.
• Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready.
• Organise raw materials ready for Print run.
• Ensure daily production schedules are met.
• Comply to procedures to meet BRC standards.
• Assist with the Daily maintenance /cleaning and care of the press and equipment.
• Communicate with all members of the business.

Skills & Requirements

• A pro-active, positive attitude is required
• An excellent team-working ethic.
• Diligent and attentive to detail.
• 1 Year Lithographic print experience is preferred, although not essential.
