Live in Junior Butler / House Assistant

Silver Swan is currently recruiting for a Junior Butler / Household Assistant for stunning to play an integral part in our client’s UHNW household in Dorset, England. Directly working with the Head Butler, the Junior Butler will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and security of the client’s mansion, whilst catering to the needs of the principals.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving guests and visitors
• Front of house duties
• Attending to meals and functions as required
• Maintaining hunting/riding/shooting clothing and equipment
• Keeping inventory of wine and drink stores
• Cleaning and polishing of silverware
• Ensuring personal and shoot vehicles are clean and maintained at all times
• Manage the family's pets, including walking, feeding, and overall care
• Undertake various cleaning duties, including laying fires, maintaining firewood supplies, and cleaning specific areas of the mansion, coordinating with the housekeeper when necessary
• Manage the upkeep of the Pool House, ensuring regular checks, cleanliness, stocking of supplies, and seasonal opening and closing
• Regularly check and maintain boilers, heating systems, and fuel tanks, ensuring sufficient oil levels at all times
• Drive and collect the family and guests when requested by the principal
• Stepping up to cover the Head Butler when required

Ideal Candidate:

• MUST have the right to live and work in the UK
• Driver essential
• Flexible, adaptable approach
• Experience in hospitality or service, with a focus on working with UHNW clients

Package:

• Working week: 10 days on / 4 days off OR 5 days on / 2 days off - weekend work required
• Accommodation: A 2 bedroom flat is provided which is currently furnished and has recently been redecorated. Pets and partners allowed
• Start date: ASAP
• Salary: £30-34k with possible salary increase upon completion of probation
