Exciting opportunity to work with a specialist LNG Trader in London.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute contractual deliveries for LNG operations, handling both long-term and short-term cargoes within the Atlantic time zone.
  • Assist in the review, support, and negotiation of Key Term Sheets, Confirmation Notices, Master SPAs, and new spot or mid-term commercial structures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively in the daily operations of LNG cargoes for the company's Atlantic portfolio, collaborating with the Singapore team to ensure timely fulfillment of all contractual obligations. This includes tasks such as ship nominations, managing delivery windows, overseeing quantity and port specifications, issuing documentary instructions, appointing surveyors, and monitoring cargo quality.
  • Regularly communicate and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, counterparties, and service providers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts, including Confidential Agreements, Master Agreements (MSPA), and Confirmation Notices.
  • Review, analyze, and summarize contract risks for spot/short-term transactions, proposing terms to mitigate risks or maximize contractual flexibility in the Key Term Sheet (KTS).
  • Proactively resolve any operational disputes with internal and external counterparts.
  • Adapt and amend duties and responsibilities as necessary to align with the company's evolving strategy and team structure.

Requirements:

  • Experience in LNG cargo operations or LNG shipping operations. Candidates with relevant experience in the LNG business value chain are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability in resolving issues, meticulous task management, quick learning, and respect for cultural diversity among internal and external counterparts.
