Loans Administrator

Our client is seeking an experienced Loans Administrator to be a vital part of their Global Market Loans Operations team. This team provides support to the Global Credit Trading desk, which trades a wide range of financial products on the secondary trading market. As a Loans Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing the portfolio of reporting and reconciliation enhancements across the team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor loans trading positions under various documentation for performing and non-performing assets.
• Manage the agreement and payment of interest and repayments to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Corporate Actions, Legal, and Compliance on loan restructurings and complex transactions.
• Support new transactions and ad-hoc requests from the Loan Trading and Origination desks.
• Review loan documentation to ensure all required documents are in place for settlement.
• Ensure accurate settlement of transactions in the Loans system of record.
• Work closely with global operations subject matter experts to implement process improvements.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of bilateral & syndicated loan documentations.
• Previous experience in servicing and wider exposure within the loans market.
• Familiarity with secondary market trading and distress knowledge is desirable.
• Focus on loan documentation and settlements.
• Knowledge of loan IQ or similar systems is a plus.

Contract:

- Contract Type: Temporary

- Daily Rate: £500 - £600

- Contract Length: 12 months
