This Localisation Project Coordinator (junior level) role will be part of our round-the-clock operations team supporting our Localisation team with their day-to-day operations. We are looking for a proactive individual to work within a fast-paced environment with responsibilities including handling project assignments, linguist support, and assisting with onboarding new linguists to our language teams.

Training will be provided and all assessments will be on a standardised quantitative basis.

Principal Duties

  • Coordinating translation and QC localisation projects for high-profile streaming clients

  • Supporting our round-the-clock Operations team providing production and linguist support, liaising with other team members based in London, Singapore and LA offices

  • Assisting with onboarding new linguists to our language teams as needed

  • Potentially assisting with recruitment of new linguists as needed

  • Adhering to company policies and procedures

  • Collaborating with other departments as needed to resolve issues

  • Maintaining a positive and professional attitude towards colleagues at all times

  • Linguist support via emails/ticketing system

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Mandatory

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Bias to action, proactive & innovative by nature

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well under pressure and able to prioritise and pivot accordingly

  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with superb attention to detail

  • Please note that this role is currently a remote working from home position

  • Immediate availability is essential

Preferred

  • Relevant working experience in the localisation and/or media industry.

  • Fluency in a second language other than English.

  • Proficient in using computers and various software applications

  • Knowledge of Airtable would be an advantage but is not essential
