We are seeking a dedicated Locality Social Worker to join the team on a full-time basis. In this hybrid role, you'll have the opportunity to work from home up to two days a week, providing essential support to local children in need, child protection, and children in care.

As a key member of the team, you will utilise your expertise in social work to carry out various responsibilities, including duty home visits, safeguarding planning meetings, and telephone triage. Clear and timely record-keeping will be paramount as you navigate through different situations with empathy and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Care
  • Experience in children's safeguarding, including child protection, children in need, or children in care
  • Social Work England Registration
