Locum Band 7 Pharmacist - Greater Manchester - £27-32 per hour

Hunter Gatherer have a fantastic opportunity with a medium-sized hospital in the Greater Manchester area. The pharmacy are looking to recruit an experienced pharmacist to join the department on a fulltime basis! List of duties are found below;

• Dispensing/checking of prescriptions & issuing medication from the pharmacy, including competent in the use of the relevant computer system.

• To clarify poorly written prescription charts, discharge letters and other forms for prescribing.  

• To query irrational or inappropriate prescribing, including unlicensed, off-licence and non-formulary prescribing. Record clinical interventions and activities in line with departmental policy. 

The main goal for the post holder is to support the Lead Pharmacist in safely operating an effective pharmacy service. The post holder will be required to have prior NHS experience!

- £27-32 per hour

- Ongoing contract with 2 week notice period
