Locum Microbiologist Band 6

Position: Locum Microbiologist Location: Midlands, UK

Duration: Minimum 3 months

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, core hours

Pay Rate: £22.65 per hour (PAYE)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting microbiological analyses and tests.
  • Identifying microorganisms and interpreting results.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals on patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • At least 6 months of recent experience with NHS hospitals or paid UK lab experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
