Logistics Associate (Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days working from home)

Our client is a specialist perishable Importer importing fine produce into the UK from the EU.

You'll oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and materials within the company.

The ideal candidate must speak Polish. This is a great job opportunity with potential career opportunities.

Main responsibilities for the candidate will include:

1. Planning and Coordination:
   
   
   • Strategically planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
   • Directing, optimizing, and coordinating the full order cycle.
   • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
2. Operations Management:
   
   • Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency. Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures and systems
   • Arranging warehouse operations, planning routes, and processing shipments.
   • Arrange and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
   • Resolving any arising problems or complaints.
3. Supervision and Metrics:
   
   • Meeting cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
   • Maintaining metrics and analyzing data to assess performance and implement improvements.
   • Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
