Logistics Coordinator

Location: Leicester 

Salary: £22k - £24k 

Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Office Based

Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a knack for managing imports and communicating with airlines and shipping lines? Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is looking for you!

Your Role:

  • Monitor import arrivals and communicate with customer warehouses.
  • Coordinate deliveries with sales and logistics teams.
  • Review and process all necessary import shipping documentation.
  • Liaise with freight forwarding agents and maintain accurate databases.
  • Handle pre-alerts and book deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient logistics operations.

Skills We Value:

  • Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of import freight shipping and Customs procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems.
