Logistics Coordinator

  • Location: SN25 - Office based 5 days a week

    We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our clients dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our delivery and distribution processes.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for organising deliveries, liaising with operations staff, and managing incoming and outgoing goods. 
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Communicate with customers to arrange deliveries, plan routes, and assess load combinations using both our own fleet and subcontracted hauliers.
  • Liaise with operations staff regarding delivery arrangements to ensure seamless operations.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for incoming deliveries to facilitate efficient unpacking and sorting of orders by operations staff.
  • Accurately receive incoming goods onto our stock system, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Generate delivery notes and paperwork for outgoing deliveries, ensuring all information is correct and complete.
  • Book outgoing pallet and parcel deliveries with reliable carriers.
  • Provide operations staff with accurate picking lists for all orders to streamline the order fulfilment process.
  • Occasionally assist the operations team with preparing orders and loading vehicles, demonstrating teamwork and flexibility.
