The Logistics Manager is a key role within the Offshore Directorate Marine Function supporting Transportation (land, air, sea), Materials management, warehousing and shore base management, accommodation & welfare, Freight forwarding, personnel movement and tracking.

The key responsibilities of the Logistics Manager (Marine) include:

- Deliver the Logistics strategy for the marine function and support the development of the Logistics Plan across all projects within the Portfolio.

- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for logistics inputs for all projects, leading and maintaining high levels of communication between the logistics team, project management and relevant stakeholders.

- Working closely with and supporting the project teams in developing and reviewing the key Logistics documentation required to effectively delivery the Logistics Management Plans.

- Ensure that the Contractors logistics teams provide a flawless service for the project construction activities, managing resources and materials effectively to deliver project schedules.

- Develop, mentor and support a high performing Logistics team, identifying opportunities for further professional development, and a culture of innovation and solution focused delivery.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Demonstrable experience in managing Logistics and Service Provision for onshore and offshore projects.

- Skilled in managing international contractors and various vessel types and operations.

- Experience of acting as a subject matter expert, with the ability to present succinctly and with authority to ensure decisive action and innovative solutions for the project teams.

- Track record in investigating incidents relating to logistics delivery or personnel welfare for fast corrective actions and recording in terms of safety management.

- Experience in supporting, developing, and mentoring a team, to establish a positive, inclusive culture delivering outstanding results and performance.
