Job Opportunity: Class 2 HGV Lorry Mounted Crane Operators / Drivers

I'm looking for skilled Class 2 Drivers with Lorry Mounted Crane certificate, experience is sort after, however we still want to speak with individuals which are keen to get into HIAB / Lorry Mounted Crane work.
The season has begun and we have ongoing work & for the right candidates this will become permanent roles.

Location: Colnbrook, Slough
Position: Class 2 HGV Lorry Mounted Crane
Controls: Mainly Remote control however client dependant 
Type of Shifts: Full time, Days & Weekends
Pay: Hourly, paid weekly

The Role includes:
  • Operating the Crane: Safely and efficiently operate the lorry-mounted crane (often equipped with a HIAB system) to load and unload materials at various locations.
  • Deliver materials such as building supplies etc
  • Be physically capable of handballing smaller items when necessary1.
  • Inspect the crane to ensure safety, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow safety protocols
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Perform routine maintenance on the crane and keep it clean and well-maintained

Requirements:
  • Be a Professional HGV Driver
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Tachograph knowledge 
  • Licence held for a at least of 24 months, with at least 180 days driving recorded on your tachograph (For some clients we can accpet less so if you have HIAB then please apply anyone)
  • Clean driving record
  • Great work ethic
  • Flexibility & Reliability 
  • We support you in getting your DBS
  • Provide a full 5-year reference history 

Driver Knowledge:
  • Good understanding of transportation laws and regulations
  • Great operation of HGVs 
  • Use of Lorry mounted cranes 
  • Basic Understanding of maintenance and repair of HGVs
  • Used GPS & tracking devices

We have opportunities for the right candidates to support with further training after a period of employment is complete.
