Property Loss Adjuster – North London Location: North London & Surrounding Areas | Field & Home-Based
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to join a growing team, managing a diverse portfolio of domestic and commercial property claims. This role offers a mix of on-site investigations and remote case management, providing a great balance of autonomy and support.
The Role
  • Investigate and manage property damage claims, including fire, flood, escape of water, subsidence, and storm-related losses.
  • Conduct site visits across North London and surrounding areas, assessing damage and determining policy coverage.
  • Handle claims from first notification through to settlement, negotiation, and resolution.
  • Liaise with insurers, brokers, policyholders, and contractors, ensuring efficient and fair claim outcomes.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients and contribute to continuous improvement in claims handling.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience as a Loss Adjuster within property claims.
  • Strong knowledge of policy coverage, building pathology, and claims investigation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently, managing a caseload efficiently.
  • CILA qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.
