Part Time Lunch Break Supervisor - Bristol, BS13 (Hartcliffe)

Are you looking for part time work during school hours? We're recruiting for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Break Supervisor at a school for children with special educational needs located in Bristol. The pupils all have severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviour - many of the pupils have additional disabilities - physical, visual, or hearing.

  • £12.60 per hour
  • Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
  • Term Time only plus 2 inset days
  • Based in Bristol - BS13. Easily accessible by public transport

About the Lunch Break Supervisor role

  • Supervising pupils between the ages of 4-19
  • Support pupils who are not independent feeders with their dinner and assist pupils with their hygiene or toileting needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, promote inclusion, and assist children in engaging with activities.
  • Report any concerns regarding safety or behaviour to senior meal supervisor or class teacher

About You - We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and has a friendly, approachable demeanour.
  • Is comfortable in a role that is physical in nature and requires emotional and physical resilience.
  • Has excellent communication skills and can work well as part of a team.
