Our client is a globally luxury food and beverage company that is growing in the UK and working with corporate and retail customers across various locations. They operate in high foot fall locations and look to offer an experience to their customers within the store, they are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to take on a crucial role in London (Covent Garden Area)

The Retail Store Manager, who will ideally have some experience within F&B (Food and Beverage) will mainly be responsible for the sales and retail operations management duties of the store, which includes people management and boutique operational management. The overall responsibilities of this sought-after position are outlined as follows:

  • Monitoring actual sales and motivating the team to achieve sales targets
  • Work to strict Brand guidelines on quality of presentation and operation
  • Enhance staff customer service and selling techniques
  • Preparing various analysis on the sales figures and forecast, market environment and competitor’s information for management review
  • Responsible for staffing Rota within Store and F&B element
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the store and solving unresolved operational issues
  • Monitoring the implementation of retail operations manual, enforcing the company policies and guidelines
  • Monitoring and maintaining highest standard of housekeeping on and off the sales floor at all times and in compliance with company’s guidelines
  • Monitoring sales team performance and coaching the store team for identifying sales opportunity, managing customer services and operations standard proactively
  • Identifying and developing high potential staff to build future talent pool for the Company
  • Motivating, driving, informing, and actively coordinating retail teams to build team spirit and positive working environment
  • Accountable for the boutique's profitability by increasing top line and managing costs associated with inventory levels, personnel, supplies, and expenses to deliver stronger bottom line.
  • Responsible for the procurement of stocks, inventory control, and the maintenance of the Boutique's most recent products and updated product catalogue.
  • Managed or experienced in managing a larger team.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years at managerial level in a luxury goods or high-end retailer
  • Target-oriented and client focussed
  • Strategic thinking, well-organized and able to work well under pressure
  • Capability to drive for results and deliver excellence
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about the luxury industry
  • Excellent command of spoken written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills
