Multi-Skilled M&E Engineer - Midlands

Our client is an established Facilities Management Company based in the West Midlands offering services in Air-Conditioning, Electrical, Plumbing, Gas and General Maintenance. They are now looking to recruit for a new and exciting opportunity due to company growth.

They are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Mechanical and Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance across their client portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge, skills, and the qualifications to be able to complete installs, repairs and maintain HVAC, extract, CHP, boilers, Air-Conditioning units and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out PPM duties to the relevant schedule when covering engineers.
  • Carry out reactive works when requested within an acceptable time frame.
  • Provide clear and detailed information when quotations are to be provided.
  • Inform Contracts Manager of any issues which are relevant and may escalate.
  • Provide any information requested by Contracts Manager or office.
  • Provide reports where needed for the out of hours servicing, within an acceptable time frame after the servicing.
  • Carry out general fault-finding duties
  • Conform to company Health & Safety policy.

Candidate Specification:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable and willing to work in hour and out of hours where required.
  • City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2
  • 17th/18th edition IEE wiring regulations
  • City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services
  • Gas Safe/F-Gas
