Job Title: Mobile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Various sites in Wakefield

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus on-call rota requirement

About the Role:

Join our client as a Mobile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, delivering outstanding Facilities Management maintenance services-both planned and reactive-across their portfolio of commercial buildings in Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain facilities to the specified Performance Standards.
• Perform PPM maintenance on equipment as per your core and non-core skills.
• Provide timely updates to the helpdesk on the progress and completion of tasks.
• Generate written technical reports, including routine maintenance and reactive reports.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on all M&E systems within your competence levels.
• Ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
• Coordinate site attendance by specialist sub-contractors as needed.
• Maintain asset histories, maintenance records, and helpdesk reports, and inform the Administrator or Team Leader of any follow-up actions.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide 24/7 cover to the Facilities.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Recognised trade apprenticeship.
• Experience in electrical power distribution systems/lighting systems/18th Edition.
• City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning.
• Experience in HVAC control systems and BMS control systems.
• Health & Safety Certificate.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to respond efficiently and prioritise duties.
• Flexibility in working arrangements.
• Capability to work to a high standard within agreed timescales with minimal supervision.
