Power Platform Developer

We have an exciting opportunity to join our existing Innovation team. We are looking for those of you who wish to grow with us as a business in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working opportunities, 1 day in the office per week. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus a range of benefits.

As a fast-paced and rapidly growing business, our in-house software development teams are also growing and we now have a need for a versatile M365 and Power Platform Developer to join the team. 

In this role, you will be working with the wider Development team, Business Change, IT and Product Owners to build client centric solutions. You should possess proven experience as a power platform developer and have a passion for delivering high quality business app solutions through agile development lifecycles. You will have a logical mindset and be comfortable using business systems data to build automations and apps to support a range of business users.

Key Responsibilities as our Power Platform Developer will include:

  • You will be responsible for building and deploying apps and workflows for use across the business
  • The platform will be integrated using APIs with a variety of data sources including SQL Server, SharePoint, Cloud Data Warehouse and CRM systems.
  • You will collaborate with business change team as well as IT engineers to understand requirements and translate them into Power Platform solutions.

What we are looking for in our ideal Power Platform Developer:

  • Solid, hands-on experience delivering projects on the Power Platform
  • Practical experience with Canvas Apps using connectors and flows
  • Practical experience using Power Automate (Flow) including use of triggers and actions. You should have a sound knowledge of best practices and limitations.
  • Experience with Model Driven Apps to include Configurations and customisations, Business processes and rules, forms / views / dashboards.
  • Experience with Azure including building Azure logic apps.
  • Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 Apps is a benefit.
  • Experience with Power Platform Admin would be an advantage, including environment management and security groups / roles.
  • Knowledge of Git.
  • Experience of working in financial services or another highly regulated environment would be an advantage.
