Machine Learning Engineer/MLOps Engineer
Up to £65,000
Remote (UK)

  • Opportunity to establish the ML function within an already successful and revenue-generating company
  • Gain exposure to a range of projects across speech/audio, NLP and computer vision
  • Significant career progression opportunities

I'm looking for an ML Engineer with experience building ML architecture and infrastructure and taking models into production.

You'll be joining a well-established business with a 75% market share in their respective space and whose products are already used by hundreds of thousands of people across the UK. They're now looking to expand internationally, develop their existing product line and develop new ones.

Unsurprisingly, they're looking towards AI to help enhance their product offering and so they need to bolster the ML expertise within the business. This is a brand new role within the company so work closely with the CTO and Principal Engineer and enjoy a huge amount of autonomy.

Even better, these products have a genuine real world application, and your work will contribute to improving lives and balancing health and social inequalities.

Essentials:

  • Experience taking ML models into production
  • Experience designing and building AI/ML architectures
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ML services
  • Solid understanding of software best practices
  • Strong Python skills

Nice to have:

  • NLP experience (Semantic Analysis)
  • Signal processing and experience working with audio data

Unfortunately, sponsorship is NOT available for this role.

This is a remote position but applicants must be based in the UK.

Reach out to Jamie Forgan at SR2 for more details.
