Personnel Selection are recruiting for two Machine Operatives to join one of our clients existing and friendly machining team.  You will be based within Andover Hampshire. Full training given, however you will need to have come from a previous basic machine operation background The working hours are 38.5 a week.  Standard Monday to Friday day shift with early finishes on Fridays. Our client is a very professional and ethical company that fully values their staff members. This will be an ongoing temporary position which may lead to a permanent role depending on workload.

Our client manufactures products for the Defence and Security markets.

The main function of the Machine Operator is to process and finish products using various pieces of equipment.   

Essential candidate requirements / skills:

  • Previously worked as a basic machine operative.
  • Able to work to strict safety and quality requirements to help achieve daily production figures.
  • Ability to Problem Solve.
  • Good Concentration Levels.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
  • A flexible resourceful team player with a positive approach to achieving the objectives of the business.
  • You will need a good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • A positive "can do" attitude.
  • Confident to work under your own supervision as well as being in a team.
  • Reliable timekeeper.
