Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for Production Technicians to work in the Beccles area. A range of shift patterns are available

For the successful Production Technician our client is offering:

  • £30,000 to £33,572 per annum
  • 3 shifts on a rotating basis - 6 am-2 pm/10 am-6 pm/2 pm-10 pm
  • Or 12 hour continental shifts
  • Permanent position
  • 28 days of holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 
  • Company Pension

The role - Production Technician:

  • Operating production machinery, carrying out tool changes
  • Carrying out routine mechanical maintenance tasks
  • Quality checking products at various stages of the production journey
  • Finding and reporting faults to the supervisor
  • Check/log sheets and pallet labels should be filled out clearly and correctly with all relevant information.
  • Ensure the machines are running correctly and safely at all times 

What our client is looking for in a Production Technician:

  • Previous Technical Experience, eg. Machine Maintenance /Motor Mechanic or similar (ESSENTIAL)
  • Clear and proven competence in working in an engineering or manufacturing environment (ESSENTIAL)
  • Production / manufacturing experience, setting machines and tooling (DESIRABLE)
  • Recent mechanical qualifications or experience (DESIRABLE)
