Simon Acres Recruitment are looking for a Machinist for a successful and growing wood and timber distribution business based in West Essex.

With this expansion, a fantastic opportunity has come up for a Machinist to join their team in the West Essex area.

The Hours

Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

The Role

The Machinist will need to safely operate all of the equipment in the mill and the tool room, along with any associated software. They will also be required to accurately process and handle timber products in line with health and safety.

? Requirements

· - Ability to safely operate all equipment within the mill and tool room along with associated software packages

· - Timber machine experience – Including 6-8 Head Moulder, Straight Knife Grinder, Profile Grinder

· - Working knowledge of Kerridge systems is desired

· - Forklift, Side-loader Licence

· - Safely set up, operate, and put away moulders and saws

· - Create templates and prepare tooling for use

· - Ensure that all equipment is kept in good and safe working order
