Salary: £23,000-£31,000 (£12-£15 per hour)

About the company

My client offers care services and rehabilitation to individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries. Their care centre is based in Bromley, and they are looking for a general maintenance assistant to carry out reactive and planned maintenance on the estate.

You will be responsible for conducting and helping general maintenance tasks. This will include plumbing, painting and electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, fixing and maintaining equipment and machinery
• Completing scheduled maintenance tasks
• Conducting preventative maintenance and identifying when items need upgrading or replacing
• Providing information and advice on maintenance issues to clients and customers
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Liaising with contractors to ensure that they complete projects on time
• Painting and decorating or conducting repairs to flooring and other fittings
• Ensuring rooms are maintained and fully equipped
• On call - Rotational
• Driving company Van to the care units to conduct maintenance help

Requirements

- Full UK driving license - 2 years +

- Basic plumbing/general maintenance experience

Benefits

- £23,000-£31,000 per annum + Overtime
