We are looking for a motivated engineer to join a market leading manfacturing company within their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
- Working alongside other Maintenance Technicians to complete both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring resources are allocated to priority areas.
- Assisting with major breakdowns.
- Minimise Plant downtime.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of plant and adjacent areas.
- Perform testing and inspecting of mechanical systems in accordance with industry standards
- Belts, Chains, Bearings, Gearboxes
- Fitting, Turning, Milling & Welding
- Cranes, Compressors, Blowers, Pumps, Valves
- Refrigeration & Anodising Plant
Skills and Qualifications
- Fault finding and diagnostic ability
- Knowledge/Qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
- 3-5 Year's Experience
- Able to ARC/MMA welding
- Good understanding of pumps and ancillary equipment
