At Shorterm Group we are looking for several Maintenance Engineers: Electrical / Multi Skilled Engineers to join our bespoke client in the Birmingham area. If you have worked in a conveyor, automated or fast paced environment this is the role for you! You will be responsible for ensuring that all production and ancillary machinery, equipment and power systems operate at maximum efficiency.
For the role of Maintenance Engineer, you will need the following skills/experience:
- Experience with automotive machinery maintenance and fault diagnoses
- Mechanical / Electrical / Pneumatics experience
- Possess appropriate Formal qualifications applicable to your engineering discipline OR 10 years+ experience
- Has strong background in maintenance
- PLC Experience - Siemens or Rockwell
Ideal Skills & qualities for the role of Maintenance Engineer:
- Electrical Bias - Must be able to electrically fault find in a safe, methodical, and timely manner
- Mechanical Bias - Mechanical fitting and fault-finding experience
- Can conduct electrical machinery audits
- To monitor and ensure that manufacturing equipment does not pose any electrical risks to personal
- To identify areas of poor equipment performance, and work in a team to implement improvements in a controlled and measurable fashion
- Must be competent to conduct Preventative Maintenance activities to a very high standard and record and relay findings and identify methods of improvement.
Key performance indicators we will be looking for are:
- Equipment reliability and performance
- Plant Maintenance (TPM & PPM)
