Maintenance Engineer

Location: Aston Clinton (Aylesbury)

Salary: Up to £40,000 - £42,000 per annum

Shift Pattern:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 4 on 4 off shift pattern (4 days, break, 4 nights - 6 am to 6 pm)

About the Role: The Recruitment Co is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client's impressive site in Aston Clinton. This role provides the chance to work for an independent market leader and part of an established global group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of all blow moulding machines (extrusion, injection, and stretch blow moulding) and associated production machinery to maximise uptime.
  • Perform repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and maintenance logs accurately in accordance with company procedures.
  • Adhere to quality, hygiene, and food safety policies in all duties.
  • Carry out any other duties as required, consistent with the purpose of the job.

Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Use safe work instructions, safe equipment, personal protective equipment, and welfare facilities provided.
  • Attend health, safety, and environmental training and refreshers as needed.
  • Consult with line management on matters pertaining to health, safety, or environmental concerns.

Requirements:

  • Electro-mechanical background with electrical qualifications preferred.
  • Some knowledge of automated systems and their functions; the ability to correctly diagnose faults and resolve them in a timely manner is key.
  • Must be a team player with a strong desire to learn new skills and be part of a successful team.
