Catch 22 are currently working alongside a large, registered charity on their search for a Maintenance Operative in a mobile role across London and North Hertfordshire to provide maintenance support as part of a growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced building technician or fabric engineer who is looking for the next step in their career, into an organisation in which they can thrive and progress.

The successful applicant would need a full UK driving license.

The roles responsibilities include: 

  • Perform maintenance visits based on a schedule provided by the Administrator.
  • Carry out and record compliance checks as per schedules.
  • Carry out carpentry repairs to doors and windows, railings etc.
  • Undertake basic locksmith works - repairs/adjustments to doors/door closures/lock replacement.            
  • Roof, gutter and drainage inspection, maintenance and repair.
  • Small scale decoration works including painting of step edges.
  • Hanging/installing signage.
  • Health & Safety remedial works as identified on the Risk Assessment.
  • Provide reports and report any further maintenance issues that need attention.
