Role Details:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to join their dynamic team. This role offers an attractive salary of £46,800 and is based in Slough. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing engineering and maintenance services to a hub facility, contributing significantly to the upkeep of the MHE system. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a global network operations function, offering exceptional maintenance support and ensuring equipment availability.

What you'll do:
* Maintain the electrical and mechanical elements of the Material Handling Equipment
* Carry out all Planned and Preventative Maintenance in line with set schedules.
* Contribute towards the preparation of departmental procedures and methods for the MHE Maintenance team.
* Assist in preparation of reports as requested by the Maintenance Engineering Supervisor
* Report maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Management System
* Assess minor job scope of works and contribute to effective planning, preparation, purchasing, installation/repair and certification of modifications and repairs.
* Carry out Electrical inspections to 17th Edition standard.

* Hands-on capability to resolve day-to-day maintenance issues effectively and timely.
* Engineering Analytic skills and Fault finding
* Proactive Team working and communication skills.
* Ability to absorb complex systems knowledge.
* Working knowledge of material handling equipment
* Knowledge of Engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
* Confident use of common power tools, professional and hand tools
