Maintenance Engineer

A global manufacturer of FMCG Products is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join an established team in their state-of-the-art UK facility.

As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will have the responsibility for installing, maintaining, and examining all equipment, as well as ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a Planned Preventative Maintenance Scheme to meet customer requirements and drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals.

***£45,000 - £50,000, a competitive benefits package, including cycle to work scheme, gym memberships, company sick pay, health & well-being programme and on-site parking***

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include -

• Performing routine and regular maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule.
• Carrying out fault finding to detect and repair electrical and mechanical faults on machinery and equipment.
• Attending to breakdown situations and rectifying breakdown problems in a timely manner.
• Supervising external contractors and colleagues as required.

To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will -

• Be multi-skilled, with experience in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Have experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing / production machinery.
• Be time-served / Apprentice trained in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Hold a qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
