The Role

Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for a company which operates within the steel, automotive and rail industry. They are looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to manage inhouse cell manufacture, and to provide to technical support to the business operation to ensure efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To ensure procedures are well aligned with the standards of quality determined by the client.
• To keep downtime to a minimum by responding to production concerns in an efficient manner.
• To monitor as well as analyse performance and implement continuous improvements.
• To maximise all efficiency of operations with excellent response time to incidents and to be flexible in terms of approach.
• To manage the development as well as maintenance of Total Production Maintenance including 1st line TPM.
• To be able to improve the process to ensure operation and delivering/improving the facility to achieve full utilisations of resources on a consistent basis.

The Candidate

• 18th Edition Electrical Certified.
• PLC Programming as well as fault-finding (Siemens & Mitsubishi).
• Robot programming as well as integration.
• Man management skills (including disciplinary, performance monitoring and recruitment.)
• Knowledge of the automotive industry.
• In-depth experience of Preventive Maintenance Planning.
