Location: Hinckley
Salary: Between £48,000-£50,000
Job Type: Permanent
The Role
Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager for a company which operates within the steel, automotive and rail industry. They are looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to manage inhouse cell manufacture, and to provide to technical support to the business operation to ensure efficiency.
Duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure procedures are well aligned with the standards of quality determined by the client.
- To keep downtime to a minimum by responding to production concerns in an efficient manner.
- To monitor as well as analyse performance and implement continuous improvements.
- To maximise all efficiency of operations with excellent response time to incidents and to be flexible in terms of approach.
- To manage the development as well as maintenance of Total Production Maintenance including 1st line TPM.
- To be able to improve the process to ensure operation and delivering/improving the facility to achieve full utilisations of resources on a consistent basis.
The Candidate
- 18th Edition Electrical Certified.
- PLC Programming as well as fault-finding (Siemens & Mitsubishi).
- Robot programming as well as integration.
- Man management skills (including disciplinary, performance monitoring and recruitment.)
- Knowledge of the automotive industry.
- In-depth experience of Preventive Maintenance Planning.
