Maintenance Lead Engineer

We have a permanent Maintenance Lead Engineer role available at our clients site in Lisburn. This role is ideal for someone with leadership skills and a strong electrical engineering background, looking to make a real impact within a dynamic environment.

Role: Maintenance Lead Engineer
Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
Contract Length: Permanent
Interview Dates: 25th & 26th September 2024 (Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a small engineering team, overseeing breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, and process improvements.
• Ensure the maintenance of all process and auxiliary equipment, focusing on improving uptime and reducing costs.
• Record and report maintenance activities using appropriate IT systems.

Essential Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade (ideally through an apprenticeship).
• Proven experience in leadership within a service centre or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and contractor management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organisational skills, and IT literacy.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Electrical maintenance experience within a heavy industrial environment.

• Flexibility, a desire to learn, and adapt to new equipment.
