Maintenance Technician

Central London | Full time

£30,000 - £33,000 p.a. plus excellent bens

5 days Monday to Friday 9-5.30 but with occasional Saturaday or Sunday working with a week day off in lieu.

We are looking for a Maintenance Operative for an established luxury residential and accommodation company based in the heart of London. You will maintain the property portfolio and the day-to-day management of reactive and preventative maintenance.

Key Requirements:

• Day to day management of reactive and preventative maintenance
• Identifying and rectifying resided maintenance issues e.g., unblocking sinks, showers, 'makinggood’ damaged paintwork
• Ensuring a secure, comfortable, and safe environment
• Checks and building walks - logging all your observations on a tablet
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor to ensure maintenance records and Property documentation files are accurate and up to date
• Dealing with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when neededUnderstanding the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety

Key Skills:

• Experience of Facilities/ Estates/ Maintenance with a proven track record of maintaining assets to exceptional standards within a student accommodation or hotel environment
• Help residents have the best experience ever
• Sensible and calm under pressure
• Able to provide a warm welcome to visitors, and contractors to our properties
• Organisation and work through a list of set tasks within a certain time frame
• Good level of computer literacy
• Experience working with a large plant, working with a BMS system or experience in mobilising / opening new buildings
