Are you an experienced Surveyor with a passion for voids and responsive repairs?

An organisation based in the North East of England are looking for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their team.

The role is initially 3 months with an opportunity to go permanent. Rates will be between £23-£30 per hour depending on experience.

The Role:

  • Voids & Responsive Repairs - Ensure void properties are re-serviced to a high standard and turned around quickly to meet KPIs.
  • Quality Control - Carry out post-inspections and audits, ensuring all work is completed to legislative and company standards.
  • Commercial Focus - Manage budgets effectively, challenge contractor spend, and prioritise works based on customer needs.
  • Customer First - Act swiftly to resolve issues, communicate clearly, and ensure repairs are done right the first time.

What You'll Bring:

  • RICS/CIOB accreditation or equivalent experience in property surveying & maintenance
  • Expertise in diagnosing property issues, specifying remedial work, and managing contractors
  • Experience in void property re-servicing and responsive repairs within the housing sector
  • A proactive and commercial approach to delivering cost-effective, high-quality repairs
  • Ability to work flexibly - this is a national role with some travel and occasional overnight stays
