Maintenance Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client based in Rainham, Essex.

Duties will include

• Reactive and proactive repairs on critical machinery and site building.
• implement preventative maintenance procedures working alongside the engineering team.
• Management and security of equipment and workshop tools inlcuding repsponsibilty of stock control.
• Raise purchase orders via Coupa.
• Carry out regular audits and checks.
• Routine management and maintenance of boiler systems and water treatments.
• Repsonding to out of hours call as and when required
• Manage critical lock off procedures on all mechanical/electrical equipment in line eith approved safety SOP's.

You must be hard working, a team player and have experience in being a maintenance technician in a factory environment. You will need to be able to problem solve and be self motivated effectively communicating with managers.

A full UK driving license is adventagous due to being on call during the night.

This is a permanent position working 7am to 7pm on a 4 on 4 off rota.
