Maintenence Technician. 

Start Date: Immediate

Pay: £14.50 p/h

Hours: 8:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday, some flexibility to work weekends during busy periods

Our client a large luxury student accommodation site in Manchester requires an efficient temporary Handyman/Maintenance Op to assist with daily reactive repairs and maintenance at one of their residential buildings.

Job duties can include:

  • Undertaking planned and reactive Maintenance tasks to high quality standards including basic plumbing, joinery, and carpentry where necessary.
  • Moving furniture and heavy items across the buildings.
  • Ensuring cleanliness on site by inspecting refuse and recycling facilities are inspected, and putting out bins where necessary.
  • Health and safety checks.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment.
  • Ability to take direction and work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety requirements.
  • Ability to work proactively and use own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in professional and helpful manner.
