Job Description:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will provide high-quality personal care and support, promoting independence and dignity at all times. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Supporting residents with mobility and physical exercises.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Monitoring and recording health-related information.
- Assisting with medication administration.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Responding promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions.
What We Offer:
- Hourly Rate: £12 to £13
- Paid Breaks
- Contracted Hours: 20 to 30 per week
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
