Job Title: Male Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)

Contract Type: Full time
Salary: £28,810 (unqualified) - £30,810 (qualified) Per Annum
About Us:
Our Client is committed to providing essential support to those affected by domestic abuse. We are seeking a dedicated IDVA to join our team and help enhance safety and reduce harm for male victims.
Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to support male victims and their supporters.
- Provide front-line services to male victims of domestic abuse, prioritising based on risk.
- Develop and maintain multi-agency links to ensure victim safety.
- Act as a single point of contact and lead practitioner for male victims.
- Manage a caseload, conduct risk assessments, and provide tailored support.
- Offer crisis intervention, safety planning, advocacy, and practical support.
- Assist victims in accessing relevant services and navigating the criminal justice system.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
- Stay compliant with data protection, confidentiality, and organisational policies.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualifications and experience.
- Understanding of the legal framework related to domestic abuse.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.
- Commitment to confidentiality, ethical standards, and best practices.
