MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - FINANCIAL SERVICES

FINCHLEY / HYBRID (2 DAYS AT THE OFFICE / 3 AET HOME)

£50,000 to £65,000 + GREAT BENEFITS

THE COMPANY:

We're proud to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a highly successful and fast-growing Financial Services business located in the Finchley area who seek an experienced Management Accountant.

As the Management Accountant you be reporting to the CFO, taking responsibility for the end-to-end Management Accounts process including commentary and analysis of the data for multiple subsidiaries. Producing the monthly reporting pack and assisting with the Budgeting / Forecasting, as well as, assisting with the management of the AP & AR Team.

In addition, you'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to assist with Due Diligence and Financial Modelling for prospective acquisitions and new product lines.

THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Reporting to the CFO, taking responsibility for the end-to-end Management Accounts process for multiple subsidiaries
• Producing reporting pack with commentary and actionable insights for the SLT
• Responsible for full reconciliation of the Balance sheet and control accounts
• Assisting with the Management of the AP & AR function.
• Assisting with Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Budgets
• Assist the team with income reconciliation process and ensuring the accuracy of day-to-day transactions.
• Deal with financial queries to ensure that accurate financial data is being report
• Producing Financial Models for target Business Acquisitions
• Supporting with the Year End and External Audit process
• Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure that all key objectives are achieved
• Reviewing the month end processes, suggesting and implementing new controls and processes where required

THE PERSON:

• Must have experience in a Management Accountant role or similar, such as, Senior Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar.
• Experience in a Financial Services / FCA Regulated business in similar role is essential
• Preferably ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified, however, exceptional QBE or MAAT Qualified candidates will be considered.
• Good experience of Financial Modelling and Data Analysis
• Advanced MS Excel skills is essential
• Must be on a maximum of one month's notice or be immediately available.
• Experience or the ability to assist with the Due Diligence for acquisitions would be a big an advantage
• Experience of Xero Accounting Software would be an advantage but is not essential.
