Management Accountant - Fixed term Contract

We are looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance department. This pivotal role involves preparing financial information and collaborating with various departments to enhance financial management practices. The ideal candidate will be adept at monthly reporting, management accounts preparation, and maintaining our ERP system, contributing significantly to our financial operations.

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for all entities within the reporting timetable, including all monthly journals and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of the Board pack and interim financial statements.
• Partner with sales, admin, and manufacturing departments to monitor costs and provide meaningful commentary and analysis.
• Conduct monthly spend and cash flow analysis, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain financial control procedures and ensure adherence to them.
• Manage and provide cover for Production payrolls and prepare annual HMRC Statutory Payroll reporting.
• Assist in the stock costing process and support internal projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide cover for team members as needed.
• Support the FP&A Manager and Financial Controller with various tasks as required.

• PQ or QBE (Essential)
• Technically strong, preferably practice trained (Desirable)
• Commercially aware (Essential)
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy (Essential)
• Exceptional communication skills at all levels (Essential)
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with new technologies (Essential)
