SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful SME based in Cannock as they look to recruit a Part Time Management Accountant. This is a pivotal role within the business working closely with the Directors to provide valuable financial information and help support strategic decision making. In addition you will be managing 1 person who will support you with the preparation of accounts. You will require initiative and ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is a varied position which requires someone to be happy supporting the wider business where required. You will be given the flexibility to work hours around your schedule as well as be able to work from home a couple of days a week. We anticipate the role to be between 24-30 hours a week.

Role:

- Prepare detailed management accounts and present to directors
- Manage accounts assistant and review their work
- Processing subcontractor invoices
- CIS returns
- Produce sales invoices
- Submit VAT returns
- Provide financial reports and analysis
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll
- Treasure management and reconciling bans
- Be the point of contact in finance for external stakeholders

Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by experience
- Experience in a similar hands on role
- Strong IT skills, particularly excel
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive attitude
