Management Accountant

I am engaged with my client in the recruitment of a Management Accountant, this is a permanent opportunity in a forward thinking and innovative business who offer a great platform to develop yourself. My client are a Global insurance company so experience within insurance will be a distinct advantage.

Please find an overview of the role below:

• Reporting in the Group Finance Manager
• Day to day support and supervision of the Finance Team
• Main contact for overseas subsidiaries ensuring that all regulatory control and reporting is delivered to the highest standard
• Responsible for the preparation of group management accounts
• Responsible for all financial reconciliations, including the key workings for intercompany & foreign exchange
• Responsible for year-end close, to include preparation of audit files and statutory accounts, including the group consolidation
• Assists with the completion of various statutory returns including UK VAT
• Creates and encourages an inspiring team environment with an open, equal and collaborative communication culture

Experience and skills

• Strong IT and Excel skills
• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or studying towards completion
• Experience of working in a commercially focussed business
• Demonstrable experience of Management Accountants
• US & EU Experience
