Management Accountant

I am delighted to be partnering with a leading firm of Chartered Accountant who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team in Middlesbrough.

Reporting the Assistant Management you will be involved in the delivery, analysis and interpretation of management accounts for a portfolio of clients across the region.

Your main duties:

• Preparation of management accounts from a wide range of clients Sage, Xero and Quickbooks Online
• Attending clients premises across the North East and Yorkshire
• Undertake common management accounts task and techniques including cash flow forecasting and break even analysis
• Analyse, interpret and appropriate commentary on management accounts
• Preparation of Excel working papers
• Undertaking bookkeeping tasks
• Prepare and review VAT returns
• Reviewing payroll journals
• Actioning client queries
• Attending internal meetings

Person Specification:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or AAT level 4 with relevant experience
• Management accounts experience
• Strong IT skills including Xero, Quickbooks, Sage
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of different VAT schemes
• Understanding of CIS
