Management Accountant

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with an ambitious ,fast growing and quality focused company operating nationally in their search for a Management Accountant. You will be heavily involved in supporting the production of accurate and timely group financial reporting for management on multiple entities, cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations and supporting internal systems of sales invoicing, purchasing and banking processes.

The role will suit someone with similar experience as a Management Accountant within a small to medium sized business as well as someone part to newly qualified, or qualified by experience. Experience with Xero accounting software is the ideal.

Key duties:

- Production of management accounts for two companies, ensuring that tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Produce cash flow and budget forecasts
- Provide financial reports, analysing variances against budgets in the monthly management accounts
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Oversee the reconciliation of all bank transactions on XERO
- Compute and post regular monthly journals for stock, deposits, prepayments, accruals, deferred income, depreciation and interest
- Manage the intercompany journals and the reconciliation of intercompany accounts monthly
- Support the group's treasury management

Requirements:

- Part / fully qualified accountant or QBE
- Experience in a similar role
- Xero experience
- Good Excel skills
