We are looking for a Management Accountant for our client based in Balborough. The company has seen year on year growth and offers career development for the right person.

In this role, you'll oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management and the cash conversion cycle. We are looking for someone who can manage risk and make the most efficient use of their available resources.

Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally within a construction, engineering, manufacturing or similar industrial environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dynamic, brings ideas and wants to add value to an organisation.

Main duties to include:
  • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Handle exchange transactions and manage currency risk.
  • Lead and support the transactional team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Managing the company's working capital to optimise liquidity and profitability
  • Perform a range of accounting tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
We are looking for:
  • Experience working as a Management Accountant or similar role 
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in forex and cash flow management
  • Excellent leadership and team supervision skills
  • Experience working with SAGE
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or working towards CIMA, ACCA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
